Where is the sale located?

Jefferson City, Tennessee — approx. 35 minutes NE of Knoxville. (Actual address will be provided upon signup.) When scheduling your appointment, please note that this is in the Eastern Time Zone.

what kind of prices can i expect?

Because my inventory is extensive, most items will not be priced when you arrive, but we will work together to find both pieces and prices that work with your style and budget. To be clear, however, you should not expect auction/garage sale prices. With that said, I worked hard to acquire my inventory at very good prices, and I am happy to pass along extremely good deals to you. Except for the occasional rare/hard-to-find item, we will start the conversation at 60% below retail.

For example, if a china dinner plate in my collection sells for $45 at Replacements.com, you can discount it by 60% and start at $18 right off the bat. If the plate is in unused or extremely good pre-owned condition, we may stop there. If, however, the plate shows signs of use and enjoyment (but no chips, cracks, etc.), I may offer it for as little as $9—80% below retail.

Bottom line:  my goal is to clear out inventory in a timely manner (while recouping my investment) and get it in the hands of people who will appreciate and keep it in circulation for generations to come (while stretching your budget).

what types of payment do you take?

I accept cash, checks, Venmo, PayPal (friends/family OR 4% fee), and debit/credit card (+ 4% fee). Sales tax was pre-paid, so you will not be charged tax.

may i bring friends?

Absolutely! However, due to limited space in the studio (and overflowing inventory), showings are limited to four (4) people at a time.

may i sign up for both morning and afternoon showings?

If you are a “big time shopper” coming from a distance and want an entire day to shop (trust me, there’s enough here!), you’re welcome to sign up for both time slots. I can provide you with local places for a lunch break—or feel free to bring your own lunch and keep shopping!

why do you need my phone number?

It is highly unlikely that your scheduled showing will need to change. However, should that happen (for example, due to a weather event or an emergency with my aging parents out of state), I want to be able to communicate with you in a timely manner. Thank you for understanding!

your time slots don’t work for me. may i come another time?

I am offering showings the majority of March. As long as inventory is available, I will continue extending showings into the next month as I’m able. Obviously, the sooner you come, the greater the treasure hunt!

However, if you are truly unable to work with the dates/times I have available, please contact me at [email protected] to see if we can work out another time. Serious shoppers only, please.

do i need to bring packing supplies?

I will plan to have clean newsprint available, but please bring your own preferred packing boxes, bins, bubble wrap, etc.

where will i park?

There is easy-access driveway parking for vehicles as well as a large parking lot across the street for trailers.

are there any accessibility limitations?

There are no steps or stairs into the studio, so I can accommodate minor mobility issues. However, limited space (and overflowing inventory) does not allow accommodation of wheel chairs, scooters, walkers, etc.
